Authoritarian parenting

In this kind of parenting, the parent leads with an authority and expects the children to follow. Authoritative parenting

This is a parenting style that is very democratic. The parent is the style the head and the leader, but they encourage questions and suggestion. Such parents will set rules but will go ahead and explain why they have set the rules. They will give room for suggestions and questions from their kids, and the kids will feel that they have a say.

When it comes to discipline, this parenting does it with love and without any harshness. The children will understand why they are being punished. This is the most successful parent style and bring up both happy and obedient children.

Permissive parenting

In this form of parenting, there are very few rules set by the parents. Parents have very low expectations of the kids, and this is why they rarely discipline the kids.

The parents expect maturity from the kids, and the children regulate themselves. This parenting style is not successful because it leads to unhappy kids who have a problem respecting authority.

Uninvolved parenting

In uninvolved parenting, the work of the parent is only to provide the basic needs of the children but on the other areas, they are completely uninvolved.
